More About Our Dance Camp Show

The core dance disciplines you’ll take at ADTC are contemporary, hip hop, and jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include Broadway, Lyrical or Modern). Elective dance classes include ballet (beginning or intermediate), tap and world dance (examples may be Latin, Afro, Capoeira, Bollywood, etc).

No matter what your dance level or background, our dance curriculum is designed to challenge you. Our dance instructors are some of the best in the world, and you may only have one chance to take class with them – seize it!

You’ll be organized into groups by age and ability so you can learn at an appropriate speed. We decide your dance group placement after our Sunday evening “dance party”. We try to make this process as informal, non-competitive and FUN as possible.

In just five days, you’ll learn performance pieces in four different dance disciplines (at least). Symbolic awards are presented at the end of the dance camp show, and a party for all campers, siblings & parents follows.

The dance camp show lasts approximately one hour and the exact performance time will be announced at check-in (shows usually begin at 7 or 7:30pm). Performance DVDs (or access to the complete show online) will be available for purchase after camp.

ADTC Basics

ADTC is the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp for girls ages 8 – 17. Our camps are age-appropriate, great for groups, and dancers of all levels & disciplines are welcome! ADTC Basics include info about a typical day, meals, team events, the canteen, etc.

Solo Campers

Naturally, our dance camps attract girls from all over the world who love dance. Like you, they’re seeking out new experiences and lifelong connections with new friends and new places. At ADTC we say, “you can come solo, but you’ll never be alone.”
