Allison Gallant began Irish Step dancing at the age of four years old. She continued training in Irish dance throughout her childhood while adding other genres to her repertoire, including jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater.
Alli trained with the Duffin-Murphy School of Irish Dance and North Shore Dance Academy in Massachusetts, where she has also taught various styles of dance.
Alli minored in dance at Stony Brook University in New York before moving to NYC to participate in the Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester. She is currently the lead instructor at New Jersey Dance Academy.
This will be Alli’s thirteenth summer at ADTC in Vermont (7 years as a camper, 2 years as a Junior Instructor-Counselor, 1 year as an Instructor-Counselor, and 3 years as Asst. Program Director).
