Day Campers at Overnight Camps: We welcome day campers at ADTC overnight camps (though 99% of campers choose to stay overnight). Day campers must choose a meal plan. Day campers participate in all dance classes and activities with overnight campers from 8:45am warm-up through 9:30pm pick-up after all-camp night activities.

Space Availability: ADTC cannot guarantee space in any given camp session prior to receiving your online application. Registration is first-come, first-served.

Session Confirmation: Online applicants will receive confirmation of their registration via email within a few minutes of submitting their application. If you do not receive an email within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder (and be sure to add emails from our domain – danceadtc.com – to your “safe sender” list) – click here for help with common email clients.

Disclaimer: ADTC reserves the right to refuse an application and/or dismiss, without refund, any camper at any time for reasons which, in its sole discretion, are in the best interest of its business, campers and staff.

ADTC tuition includes all core dance classes & electives (4 – 5 classes per-day), our unique Friday Night Show and most on-site activities (team events, night activities, etc.)

Overnight campers must pay the “Room, Board” fee for their number of sessions. The “Room & Board” fee includes lodging, supervision and three meals per-day from Sunday night dinner through Saturday morning breakfast. The multi-week fee also includes Saturday night lodging & supervision between camp sessions, Saturday lunch & dinner, as well as Sunday morning brunch..

Day campers must pay the “Meal Plan” fee for their number of sessions. The “Meal Plan” fee includes three meals per-day from Sunday night dinner through Saturday morning breakfast.

Multi-Week Overnight Campers: Two-week campers get $100 OFF tuition, three-week campers get $300 OFF tuition, and four-week campers get $600 OFF tuition! Multi-week campers are welcome to check-out with their parents (or another authorized person) on Saturday from 9 – 11am, but they must check back in on Sunday by 3pm. The majority of multi-week campers stay with us between sessions and participate in a Saturday field trip (like to a movie). Multi-week campers must confirm whether they will stay over with us & pay for the Saturday field trip at check-in.

Optional Activities Fees & Requirements: Please note that most optional activities require parental consent and/or additional fees (see above). Additional fees & waivers for optional field trips & activities requiring them will be detailed at check-in for your session – all campers register for activities during check-in.

Fees cover any necessary transportation, professional guides (where applicable) & supervision by ADTC staff certified in First Aid & CPR. Optional field trips generally take place during afternoon free time with the exception of a few evening offerings. Most activities are only offered once per week, though some are offered two or more times per week.

Note that there always are included (fee-free) activity options available to campers who do not participate in the optional field trips & additional fee activities. Also note that the activities described on website are subject to change (including price change) or cancellation without notice.

You may choose to open your daughter’s Activities Account at registration to save  20% on your total activities fees at camp.

Due to weather, availability &/or scheduling conflicts, we may be unable to offer all activities during your daughter’s session. Please note that if your camper does not report at her assigned time to participate in an activity for which she is registered, her participation fee is non-refundable. However, if an activity must be cancelled by ADTC (for example, due to weather), the activity fee will be refunded.

Once your session dates have been confirmed by ADTC, any desired changes or cancellations must be requested in writing by emailing info@danceadtc.com. Risk-Free Cancellation – register with Peace of Mind!

By submitting an application, parents acknowledge that they have read the ADTC registration policies & terms and conditions, and understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined therein regarding ADTC’s payment requirements and deadlines, medical and insurance requirements, and refund restrictions. They further certify that all information given in the application and on subsequent required camper forms will be accurate and complete.

By applying to attend ADTC, campers promise to comply with the rules and regulations of American Dance Training Camp. They understand that disrespect toward people or property is not tolerated at ADTC. They understand that violent behavior, bullying, repeated profanity, bigotry, stealing, inappropriate sexual behavior, tobacco, drug or alcohol possession or use, possession of weapons, or any other behaviors seen as unsafe by ADTC staff will result in immediate dismissal from camp.

Campers may check-in one personal cell phone &/or music device (such as an iPod or MP3 player) with our office upon arrival at camp. We will gladly hold on to these devices for the week in our secure lock boxes. If your camper is traveling to camp on her own and has a cell phone for travel purposes, she will need to turn it in to the office upon arrival at camp.

Please let the office know if we should expect her to have one. Cell phones will be given back to the camper at her scheduled “call home time” only (which is Thursday afternoon or evening each week), while music devices will be given back only when the camper needs to rehearse a dance. Otherwise these devices are strictly prohibited and must remain in the camp office until check-out. For more info about our policy, please read A Health Cell Phone Detox.

Parents, we want your American Dance Training Camp experience to be safe and fun year-round. And since you’ll be responsible for monitoring any potential interactions between your daughter and ADTC staff/campers outside of camp, please read our dance camp internet policies and then review them with your daughter before check-in for her camp session. Thanks so much for your support!

We have great respect for your privacy and zero tolerance for spam!

Who We Are: The terms “ADTC,” “we” and “our” refer to American School of Dance, LLC (dba “American Dance Training Camp”), a Texas company, and a member of the American Camp Association, which offers and operates all the camps and services listed herein. ADTC campers travel from all over the world to participate in our overnight dance camps. Our Instructors & Counselors are leaders in dance. We care deeply about the safety, learning, and social experience of our campers, and we work effortlessly to ensure that each dancer has a rewarding experience at ADTC. All camps are subject to ADTC’s standard terms and conditions, which are found in our Parent-Camper Handbook, Forms & Waivers, on our website here and by request. We ask that dancers and parents carefully read and agree to our terms prior to registering for dance camp. Some of these terms and conditions are set out below to draw your attention to the fact that our obligations to you are limited.

Due ASAP but no later than three weeks prior to the start of your camp session/s is our “Registered Camper Form.” All forms must be completed and signed by campers and parent/s or legal guardian/s. Final admittance to camp is contingent on ADTC’s receipt and review of all forms (Recent Physical/Health Form, Proof of Insurance, Online Health History, etc.).

Cancellation by ADTC: ADTC reserves the right to cancel any camp at any time for any reason determined in our sole discretion, including if there are too few participants, or if the quality of the camp or the safety of participants is judged by ADTC or a facility where we operate to be compromised. In such a case, refund of payments received by ADTC shall constitute full and final settlement. In the event of cancellation, ADTC is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable or non-transferable air tickets or other unrecoverable travel costs.

Equipment Loss or Destruction: Parent/guardian will be held financially responsible for their daughter’s willful or accidental destruction or loss of any ADTC equipment/property or that of the host school. This may include sharing in the group’s collective responsibility for willful equipment/property destruction or loss. Damage costs will be charged to your credit card on file. For damages greater than $250, ADTC will contact the family prior to charging the credit card on file. In addition, ADTC is not responsible for a camper’s lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. ADTC’s insurance does not cover campers’ personal belongings and parent/guardian should check their own insurance policies to be sure their daughter’s belongings are covered against loss, theft or damage.

Codes of Conduct: Both parent/guardian and camper must understand that for the health, safety and welfare of the ADTC camp community, campers must abide by all rules formulated by ADTC or by ADTC staff members. ADTC reserves the right to dismiss any participant from camp that staff believes, in their discretion, is injurious to herself or others, presents a safety concern or medical risk, is disruptive, or otherwise conducts herself in a manner detrimental to the camp. Use of illegal drugs, tobacco products or alcohol, extended homesickness, regular and excessive tardiness, negative attitude, not adhering to rules, sexual activity and theft are examples of conduct that ADTC considers detrimental to our camp program, which can lead to early dismissal. ADTC has a zero-tolerance policy towards violence or acts of sexual or racial harassment. Any camper or staff member that engages in an act of violence or harassment will be removed from the camp program. Violence includes but is not limited to: threatening behavior, verbal or written threats, harassment, verbal abuse, physical attacks, defamation, and any cyber-related teasing/threatening/bullying. Sexual harassment may include: any demeaning sexual proposition, unnecessary physical contact of any kind, leering at a person’s body or body parts, sexually explicit or suggestive remarks about a person’s clothing & physical attributes or behavior, sexually charged insults, humor, or verbal abuse. Racial harassment is any abuse of an individual or group on the basis of race. Racial harassment includes overt acts of oral, written, or physical abuse, as well as subtle and therefore less obvious forms of harassment such as epithets, innuendo, remarks, and attempts at humor. Tobacco, alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited. ADTC staff & directors have the right to search the camper’s room for illegal substances and to confiscate if any are found. Possession of firearms and/or any other weapons is strictly prohibited even if they are props.

Response to Violations of Codes of Conduct: Behavior of any staff member or camper, which constitutes violence, harassment or which violates any other code of conduct, must be reported to the Program Director. Any staff member found to be in violation of these codes is subject to appropriate action, which may include probation, suspension of duties, or separation from camp. Any camper we find violating these codes will be sent home immediately.

Preparing for Your Camp Session: Our camps entail risks – and rewards – beyond those encountered at home. We count on our campers to ensure they are healthy and fit; to read our pre-camp materials about clothing, training and medical requirements; and to appreciate that in some regions of the US and other countries, local living standards, practices, services and accommodations may differ.

Travel Documents & Passports: The visa and passport requirements of countries to which we travel vary according to the nationality of each traveller and may change at any time for reasons beyond our control. Although we endeavor to provide you with accurate information about these requirements, it remains the responsibility of each camper to verify that she has the appropriate travel documents for her nationality. ADTC is not liable for any expenses or costs arising from any camper being prohibited from entering a country scheduled to be visited on a trip.

External Travel Services: ADTC may recommend the services of external travel companies or other support services in response to requests made by campers for services outside the scope of an ADTC trip. Although we endeavor to recommend only companies that provide the highest levels of service and work closely with them to try to obtain special treatment for ADTC campers, we do not guarantee the services provided by third parties. ADTC is not liable for any injury, expenses or costs arising from any services, or lack thereof, provided by any third party nor the standards of care which travelers experience when using those services.

Insurance: By registering for camp, you certify that you do not have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard for you or other campers and that you have received all appropriate or necessary vaccinations indicated by your proposed camp. All campers must be covered by their own medical insurance. ADTC highly recommends that parent/guardian purchase program cancellation insurance as well. Camper families have had positive experiences with Assurance Solutions (www.protectmytrip.net). Prior to check-in, all campers must have on file a completed ADTC Registered Camper Form, which requires a physical examination by a licensed health professional dated no earlier than two years prior to attending ADTC. Required forms are available online here.

Medical Treatment: Camper and parent/s or guardian/s (hereafter collectively ‘parent/guardian’) authorize ADTC staff, representatives, contractors or other medical personnel to obtain or provide medical care for student, to transport student to a medical facility and to provide treatment they consider necessary for student’s health. Camper and parent/guardian agree that ADTC has no responsibility for medical care provided to student, and agree to pay all costs associated with that care and transportation.

Medication and Wellbeing: Families are responsible for indicating any and all medications that the camper will bring to camp and any health specifics on the online Health History form through the Registered Camper Form. Families are responsible for ensuring that the medication is clearly labeled and that dosage and time of administration is clear. Medication administration will be camp supervised. ADTC reserves the right to inspect, collect and hold any and all medications for the safety and well being of the camp community.

Supervision: The number one priority at American Dance Training camp is the safety and well being of our campers. ADTC has a full staff of qualified Instructors & Counselors on-duty at all times during camp. All of our staff is handpicked for their strong leadership skills and experience. Most have degrees in dance from prestigious universities and many return to camp year after year.

Limitation of Liability, Release & Indemnity: We strictly and expressly rely on each camper to read, sign and return our form by NO LATER THAN 3 WEEKS BEFORE CAMP.
