Talia Putrino is a New York City based dancer, educator and choreographer. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from the University at Buffalo, where she served as the Director of Dancer’s Workshop and as a member of the National Dance Education Organization.

Talia is currently the Lower and Middle School Dance Teacher at Bay Ridge Preparatory School in Brooklyn. Previously, she was a faculty member at the Mark Morris Dance Group, New York City Center and Brooklyn Music School. She was also part of the administration team for the Professional Training Programs and Group Visits at Steps on Broadway.

Throughout NYC, Talia has worked with several dance companies and choreographers such as Nappytabs at The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Emily Bufferd‘s BEings Dance, Vivake Khansingsavah, Ballaro Dance and more. She has also presented her own work at venues such as Steps on Broadway, Ballet Arts, Peridance, The Tank, Triskelion Arts, Dixon Place, and The Duplex.

Talia has been an ADTC Instructor Counselor for two summers, working in both Illinois and North Carolina. When not dancing, Talia is most likely reading a book or hanging out with her baby niece.
