Born and raised in Columbus, OH, Lexie Childers began dancing, teaching and choreographing at age 14. After graduating high school early to pursue dance, Lexie moved to New York City to study at American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
After graduation, Lexie made her professional debut in the Off-Broadway Show, "Teen Angel" where, in addition to performing, she choreographed the opening number. Lexie is currently a company member with SynthesisDANCE under the artistic direction of Tracie Stanfield.
Lexie has recently performed with the Brooklyn Dance Festival, Young Choreographers Festival, and the JKing Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Joyce King. She has also appeared on hit television shows, commercials and print ads, including Smash (NBC), NYC 22, Powerade and Xenadrine.
