ADTC Dreamer – Meet Alli G. from NYC!

“My A.D.T.C. Superpower is Dreamer. I am always dreaming up new ideas and I’m working hard to put those dreams into action instead of allowing them to just be dreams forever.

A difficult situation I’ve endured in my life is the death of my Nana who I was extremely close with. I’m still getting through it. I take comfort in the fact that she was 93 and lived a long, amazing life and is now reunited with so many friends and family members. I’ve learned to cherish the moments you have with your family and make the most of them.

My proudest accomplishment is moving to New York City. I was 20 when I moved here and created a life for myself when many people didn’t think I could. I completed the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center, found a job as the lead instructor at a dance studio, and made so many good friends who are now my family. It was a big risk but I’m so glad I took the chance.

I want other girls to learn that it is okay to go through hard times and to struggle. It’s always possible to learn from the hard times and come out stronger on the other end. I also want them to learn to fight for their dreams even if it is scary at first.”
