In addition to core dance classes in jazz, hip hop and lyrical or theatre dance, ULTIMATE campers will be exposed to a variety of elective dance disciplines (such as contemporary, modern, ballet and tap), which vary by session-week. Campers take four dance classes per day, and at week's end, they get to show off their new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers.

ULTIMATE TEEN TRAVEL camps are for girls ages 13 - 17. ULTIMATE Midwest campers fly with ADTC staff between our Beaver Dam, WI and UCMO Warrensburg, MO ULTIMATE camp locations to spend one week as campers in each location. Drop-off & pick-up is offered at both our WI and MO camps, or parents have the option of meeting our staff at the airport of departure/arrival. All travel costs between locations are included in the quoted price, and the same staff member/s stays with the group throughout their travel experience to provide consistency and continuity.

LEADERS-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM

Our Wisconsin "Leaders-In-Training" program is for girls ages 15 - 17 who attend our ULTIMATE Central Lakes dance camp for three or more weeks. LITs participate in the overall ADTC experience as campers and spend designated after-class hours helping our staff and assisting younger campers. LIT program participants gain hands-on experience to pursue our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) and/or Junior Instructor-Counselor (JIC) positions in future summers, should they choose to do so.

If you want just a few alterations to our dance camp at Wayland Academy, "tailoring" involves very little thinking on your part! You can choose to make your camp an INTENSIVE or ULTIMATE, or you can tailor the dance focus to meet your needs. Then we work with you on the "fitting" of dates that meet your needs and our availability. It's a no brainer!
