STRATTON MOUNTAIN CAMPER TRIPS & EXTRAS
Enhance your ADTC Vermont experience!
In Stratton, we offer the optional field trips & activities described below. Additional fees & waivers will be detailed in the Registered Camper's Handbook sent to confirmed campers in March. Fees will include any necessary transportation, professional guides (where applicable) & supervision by ADTC staff certified in First Aid & CPR. Note that there always are included (fee-free) activity options available to campers who do not participate in the optional field trips & additional fee activities. Also note that the activities described below are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
Campers planning to participate in most of our field trips & additional fee activities can save money by purchasing our "Unlimited Activities Pass". This is an exclusive one-time offer available only when registering - don't miss out!

CANOE / KAYAK TRIP
Twice per session, weather permitting
The staff at First Run Ski Shop will take us for a leisurely paddle on one of the nearby glass-like lakes. No prior canoeing/kayaking experience is required. Life preservers provided. CAMPER MUST BE A SELF-SUFFICIENT SWIMMER! Registrants will be assigned to a day. |

HIKE & PHOTO SHOOT
Once per session, weather permitting
So close to a world-class mountain destination resort means a hike and pictures are in order. Head over to the Village with your own disposable camera (provided) and hike up to the mid-station lodge for breathtaking views & of the Green Mountains and camp memories you'll remember for a lifetime. |

BROMLEY THRILL ZONE
Once per session, weather permitting
An afternoon of thrills! The Zone is Vermont's largest family fun park, offering alpine slides, water rides, trampolines, mini golf, rock wall climbing, space bikes and the zip line (just to name a few). This is a very popular trip - nearly all Vermont campers attend each week. |

HORSEBACK RIDING
Once per session, weather permitting
Take an easy one-hour trail ride through the scenic Vermont woods, led by the professionals at Mountain View Ranch. No prior riding experience is required. Helmets and basid riding instruction are provided. |

MOUNTAIN BIKING
Twice per session, weather permitting
Pass through quiet villages with glimpses of covered bridges, waterfalls, rivers and streams. Led by the expert guides at First Run Ski Shop, our beginner-level bike tour is specially-designed for young dancers. CAMPER MUST BRING OWN BIKE. Rentals extra. |

WESTON PLAYHOUSE

Enjoy a cultural evening on the town! The Weston Playhouse is renowned for its historic beauty and its Broadway-worthy summer stock musical productions. 2012 welcomes Charlie Brown & Fiddler on the Roof (among others). Offerings dependent upon playhouse production schedule and availability. |

BEACH TIME

VT campers can spend time on the beach surrounding the beautiful 20-acre Emerald Lake complete with snack bar, sand castle, swimming, sunbathing, frisbee and much-needed relaxation / hangout time. CAMPER MUST BE SELF-SUFFICIENT SWIMMER! |

GIRLS' NIGHT OUT

Head out on the town with the girls! We'll take you to dinner at Mulligan's in Stratton's Village where you can enjoy their selection of American fare including sandwiches, fajitas, salads and more. |

PAINTBALL

Feel the adrenaline...While you're at ADTC you can do more than just work on improving as a dancer. Tactical skills on the field are also part of your adventure. Avalanche Paintball has set up their headquarters at the Sun Bowl Base Camp. Take part in our team mission! |

WORLD DANCE ELECTIVE
Monday - Thursday afternoon dance class (after lunch)
Learn a unique world dance piece to perform in the Friday Night Show. Daily rehearsals take place after lunch. World dance is at the same time as our ballet/tap electives but does not interfere with other afternoon activities. All proceeds go to the charity selected by campers. |
Crafts
Crafts are scheduled from 4:00 - 4:45pm daily and overlap with some activities (Tuesday Bromley, Wednesday horseback riding, Wednesday mountain biking, Thursday beach time). Campers should not plan on participating in craft activities on the days they've scheduled these activities.

JOURNAL-MAKING
Once per session
Girls get to make their own journal or scrapbook from scratch! Create a handbound book frame and spine, pick and stitch the inner journal pages, and then design and decorate the cover. |

Need a frame for that favorite camp picture? Then you need a one-of-a-kind frame that shows how special your picture is to you. Whether classy, silly, nostalgic or vibrant, you design a frame that's all your own. |

Learn how to make a 24-square quilt from start to finish! We'll take you step by step through the quiltmaking process with creative quilt patterns for inspiration. You'll have a unique wall-hanging for your room so you can always remember ADTC (idea: get your new camp friends to autograph the back!). |

FRIENDSHIP BRACELET MAKING
Once per session
Learn to make your own colorful bracelets of beads, theads or yarn. As fun for beginners as it is for intermediates. Learn. Get inspiration. Make friends. Share ideas. It'll be even more fun since you'll be making one while hanging out at the beach. |

CAIRN STONE PAINTING
Once per session
For centuries, the art of stone piling on a mountain, otherwise known as building stone cairns, has been believed to bring good fortune. We will each paint our own spcial rock, focusing on a unique wish we have at this time in our lives - then we'll head outdoors to offer our collective tower of wishes to the mountain & the universe. |
Spa
Spa appointments are scheduled during Siesta (4:45 - 5:30pm daily) & will not interfere with dance classes or activities. Fresh fruit, organic tea and plenty of water will be available to our spa-goers before, during and after their appointments.

MANI/PEDI
By Appointment - 30 min.
Our dancer mani/pedi includes nail shaping, buffing and polish (color/s of your choice). Tension and fatigue melt away as you sink into our special hand & foot bath infused with aromatic oils. Best of all, you get to spend quality time relaxing with new friends & ADTC staff! |
