Ben Walker II is a professional choreographer, dance instructor, entertainer, coach, body conditioner, entertainment producer, entrepreneur, marketer, promoter, and student. Ben graduated from the nationally recognized Cincinnati School for the Creative and Performing Arts in 1998. While in attendance he majored in Dance and Musical Theatre and had the pleasure of playing such roles as “Tyrone” in FAME, “The Tinman” in WIZARD of OZ, and “Ruben” in JOE TURNER’S COME AND GONE.
In the late 90’s Ben performed with the Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and Kings Island and Santa’s Village amusement parks. Ben has studied ballet under John Rodriguez and jazz under Susan Walker, obtained certification to lead hip-hop aerobics, and founded a hip-hop dance team at Wright State University.
The local popularity of the hip hop dance team opened doors for Ben to choreograph and direct for local and regional recording artist like rap duo “Se’ Ver,” Dayton, boy band “Flip Syde,” and East Coast recording artist “Chants,” just to name a few. Working with these artists allowed Ben to go on tour as part of the opening acts for national artist like: Cash Money Millionaires, Genuwine, Adena Howard, 112, Vesta, Sammy, Lil’ Romeo, Silk the Shocker, IMX, and B2K. Currently, Ben is attending Cincinnati State College, majoring in business marketing. He has also started his own entertainment production company; and within the first year of it’s conception Bent Productions has landed contracts with dance schools and professional organizations like Ballet Tech Cincinnati, School for the Creative and Performing Arts, the Cincinnati Red's Dance Team, Proctor & Gamble, and the Kroger's food chain.
