BALLET Dance AT ADTC ULTIMATE OVERNIGHT CAMPS

At American Dance Training Camp we believe that ballet technique is the foundation for all other types of dance movement. All dancers benefit from a sound working knowledge of ballet technique and, consequently, ballet dance technique is incorporated into every core dance class at American Dance Training Camp. Every member of our amazing dance faculty is classically trained in ballet, so they are a wonderful reference “pointe” (pun intended!), whether you have never taken a ballet dance class in your life or you've been studying for 10 years!

In addition, daily ballet technique electives may be offered, and our “dance discussions” often include definitions of terminology, basic technique, movement and steps campers need to know along with detailed visual instruction on how to execute all of the movements, positions and steps.

Custom Ballet Dance Camps & Custom BAllet Dance Choreography

American Dance Training Camp offers a team of renowned ballet dance instructors worldwide who teach at our ULTIMATE and INTENSIVE dance camps. Our ballet dance instructors can also choreograph pieces for that big recital, competition or event you have coming up &/or travel to your studio, school or private location for customized boot camps!

Complete our custom camp/choreography questionnaire if you are interested in a Custom Ballet Dance Camp or Custom Ballet Choreography with one of our amazing Ballet Dance Instructors; your responses will help us to better understand your needs. Conversations with your personal Camp Designer &/or ADTC Instructor will follow as you refine your camp &/or choreography needs together.

Competition Rules: All dances must be less than 3 minutes long (ANY dance style). Participants must indicate whether they choreographed the dance themselves (if not, you must give credit to the original choreographer). American Dance Idol has three categories: group dances (3 + dancers); pair dances (2 dancers) and solo dances (1 dancer).

Prizes: In each category, first runners-up receive a $25 iTunes gift certificate; and winners receive an iPod Nano (plus the chance to have their dance video, bio and an interview featured on the ADTC website!)
