EAST COAST INTENSIVE DANCE CAMP
Join us at The Lawrenceville School, a unique boarding academy with easy access to New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C for American Dance Training Camps' East Coast Dance INTENSIVES. Choose a full week focused on hip hop dance or jazz dance! The Lawrenceville School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges & Schools (MSACS).
At Lawrenceville, ADTC campers are assigned to single or double-occupancy dorm rooms by age, sharing a community bathroom on the hall. Hallway blocks are organized by age. ADTC staff are housed in Resident Assistant (RA) rooms mixed in right along the hallway on each floor. Our staff provides campers with 24-hour supervision and support.
Building amenities include community lounges (for all-camp meetings, watching TV, doing arts & crafts and just hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, dance accessories, and ADTC apparel and souvenirs.
Campers at our East Coast Dance INTENSIVE choose one dance style as their focus for the week: hip hop ORjazz. Our INTENSIVE Overnight Dance Camp differ from our ULTIMATE Dance Camps only in that the dancing focuses on one core dance discipline. Campers take four dance classes per day that explore the many variations of that week's dance style, and at week's end, they get to show off their new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available at our INTENSIVE Dance Camp.
And at ADTC INTENSIVE New Jersey you can enjoy AWESOME ACTIVITIES & EXTRAS like horseback riding, bowling, a Build-a-Bear workshop, Kidstowne USA (laser tag, climbing wall, laser maze, etc), and a trip to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor (water rides, roller coasters & more!). Additional fees & waivers will be detailed in the Registered Camper's Handbook sent to confirmed campers in March. Fees will include any necessary transportation, professional guides (where applicable) & supervision by ADTC staff certified in First Aid & CPR. Optional field trips generally take place during afternoon free time with the exception of a few evening offerings. Note that there always are included (fee-free) activity option available to campers who do not participate in the optional field trips & additional fee activities. Campers planning to participate in most of our field trips & additional fee activities can save money by purchasing our "Unlimited Activities Pass".
