American Dance Training Camp's Sierra Mountain location is the Squaw Valley Lodge, next to the Village at Squaw in Northern California. Tahoe City and the historic town of Truckee, CA are located within ten miles of the Squaw Valley Lodge. Sacramento is 100 miles to the west; Reno, NV is 45 miles to the east and San Francisco is about 200 miles west, less than four hours by car.
By Car: From Interstate 80, take the second Truckee exit, Hwy 89 South. After 8 miles on Hwy 89 South, turn right onto Squaw Valley Road where the Olympic rings and torches are located. Follow Squaw Valley Road two miles. The road will make a sharp left turn and just ahead is the ski area. Turn right onto Squaw Peak Road located between the Cable Car building and PlumpJack. Squaw Valley Lodge is just ahead on the left side of the street. General driving directions from major cities also can be found on Squaw Valley USA's website: www.Squaw.com.
By Train: The nearest train station to Squaw is in Truckee. Shuttle service directly to ADTC can be arranged through Mountain Cab: 530-582-5828 or www.MountainCab.com.
By Air: The nearest airport to Squaw Valley is in Reno, 40 minutes away. Affordable shuttle service directly to ADTC from the Reno airport can be arranged through North Lake Tahoe Express: 866-216-5222 or www.NorthLakeTahoeExpress.com. Shuttle service from both the Reno and Sacramento airports can also be arranged through Mountain Cab: 530-582-5828 or www.MountainCab.com.
*Note: Campers traveling long-distances to camp may be able to save money by sharing a shuttle from the airport, train or bus station. Please call the limo or taxi service no sooner than one week prior to your camp session to see if this is possible.
