The ADTC Canteen carries snacks, beverages, personal items, dance apparel & supplies, and ADTC t-shirts and souvenirs (visit our online store for recommended dancewear, exclusive ADTC logo wear and clever ideas for what to bring to camp). Many of the items on our “What to Bring to Camp” list can be purchased at our canteen. Each camper's canteen account budget is to be authorized and approved by parents on the "Canteen Account" form, which is to be submitted during check-in. This enables campers to buy snacks and incidentals "on account." Campers make purchases against their authorized spending limit and are not able to overspend the amount budgeted by parents. If your camper will participate in any of our optional activities requiring an extra fee, her participation fee will be withdrawn from her canteen account (unless you purchased the "unlimited activities pass" during registration). Please budget for this when opening her account.

The ADTC canteen accepts credit cards ONLY (no cash or checks). Credit cards will not be charged until check-out and will only be charged for the exact amount spent. Campers must budget their spending money. With the exception of multi-session campers, we do not recommend that campers bring cash to camp. ADTC is not responsible for lost or stolen money.

Because each camper’s needs and interests vary, it is difficult to say how much spending money is necessary for the week. Based upon experience, we would suggest depositing at least $40 per session for your camper solely for incidentals (snacks, beverages, stamps, postcards, etc.) - however, you will need to include more if the camper plans to purchase dance apparel or accessories (or you can always purchase these items separately during check-in or check-out).

Parents of multi-week campers should allot extra money for the Saturday between sessions.
