Please note that most optional activities below require parental consent. Due to weather, availability &/or scheduling conflicts, we may be unable to offer all activities during your child's session. Campers register for activities during the Sunday afternoon team meeting (they can only register for activities if you have signed the necessary waivers!). Campers will be accompanied by ADTC staff who are trained in CPR & First Aid during each activity.
Canoe / Kayak Trip
The staff at First Run Ski Shop will take us for a leisurely paddle on on of the nearby glass-like lakes. No prior canoeing/kayaking experience is required. Life preservers provided. CAMPER MUST BE A SELF-SUFFICIENT SWIMMER! Registrants will be assigned to a day.

Park Pass
An afternoon of thrills! Rock wall climbing, chair lift rides, bungee trampoline, alpine slids, mini golf, human maze and more!
Cost $45 (Offered twice per week).
White Water Rafting
Experience the thrill of rafting on white water rapids to the scenic beauty of rock-walled canyons and green meadows along stretches of water. The staff at MAD Adventures guide the trip. Cost $60 (Offered once per session).
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater
Enjoy a cultural evening on the town! The Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatrer is located in the historic Community Centre on Grand Ave, in the heart of Grand Lake and is renowned for its Broadway-worthy summer stock musical productions. The summer campers can catch shows like 42nd Street and Footloose!. Cost $50 (Offered once per week).
Hot Sulphur Springs

The hot springs are where the Ute Indians once bathed, healed the mind, body and spirit and relaxed in sacred waters. In operation for the last 140 years, there are now 22 pools and private baths plus a new jet spa and outdoor oriental bath and solarium pool. CAMPER MUST BE A SELF-SUFFICIENT SWIMMER. Cost $45 (Offered once per week).
Indoor Swimming
Rain or shine - we'll cool down at the WPML indoor pool. CAMPER MUST BE A SELF-SUFFICIENT SWIMMER. No Cost (Offered daily).
Hiking
Take a hike! We'll take you on a leisurely hike in the mountains where you
can admire the natural beauty of the area and breathtaking views.
No Cost (Offered twice per week).
Horseback Riding
Take an easy one-hour trail ride through the scenic Vermont woods, led by the professionals at Mountain View Ranch or Chipman Stables. No prior riding experience is required. Helmets and basic riding instruction are provided.

World Dance Company
Campers can elect to participate in our unique "World Dance Company" and learn a special dance piece to perform in the Friday night show. Nightly rehearsals will be held from 9 - 9:55pm beginning Monday after the all-camp "World Dance Night." Participation is optional and all proceeds go to "ASTEP" (Artists Striving to End Poverty), an arts-based non-profit organization designed specifically to combat worldwide childhood poverty.
