American Dance Training Camp's program is based on age and ability appropriate dance routines, skills and technique. At each of our camps, dance groups are assigned by age AND skill (unless otherwise requested by a camp host). Sometimes an 8 year old may be more skilled than an 11 year old, but due to our screening policies and age restrictions, the 8 year old will usually be in a lower level dance group.
ADTC Instructors are expected to use age-appropriate music in their classes - absolutely no swear words or language that is sexual in content will be allowed in class or performance pieces at any time. Dance choreography should also be age-approgriate (i.e. limited "booty-shaking" for the little ones!!).
As a Certified Instructor, you may be hired by American Dance Training Camp to teach at one or more of our various camps, including overnight dance camps; local weekday camps; local weekend camps and weekend destination camps. Certified ADTC Instructors can also choose to host a camp to earn a profit on camper tuition.
