Beginning in July 2008, you can host an ADTC day camp in your hometown or set up a weekend overnight camp in the location of your choice! We’ve got a great program available for entrepreneurial and enthusiastic dance teachers, coaches, community organizations, and even parents.
We provide the online marketing, registration coordination and training – you provide assistance in securing dance space and getting the word out to your local studio, team and community.
American Dance Training Camp offers a unique network of professional and highly trained dance instructors – and our main goal is to make your camp a success! ADTC choreographers are Broadway and MTV performers, collegiate dance faculty, Radio City Rockettes and even up and coming recording artists! And now our certified instructors are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our totally fresh choreography with you!
You can use our standard weekday (summer only) and weekend camp schedule planner to design your own program to meet the specific needs of your organization. Standard instruction is from 9am – 3pm daily with an hour for lunch.
Or you can choose to host an ADTC clinic, afterschool program, in-school "try it," birthday party, etc. ADTC wants to make sure your dance camp exceeds all of your expectations. Once you register to host a camp, you’ll receive an information packet outlining all of our requirements and the class options that are available.
Although ADTC overnight sessions are limited to girls ages 8 – 17, gender and age breakdown for local day and overnight camps are at the host's discretion. ADTC will organize dance groups by level, and instruction is carefully tailored to fit the ability of each student – from beginners to experienced performers – with lots of hands-on help and individualized attention.
There is an $200 per camp deposit due at registration. A minimum of 16 registrations are required to run any ADTC local/destination camp, or program.
Our per-dancer fee is all-inclusive – that means that you pay only the tuition and we take care of staff housing, staff travel and camper awards. As the host, you may choose to add a dollar amount to the per-dancer registration fee to earn a profit!
Once your camp dates have been confirmed and you have completed and mailed us the "Build Your Camp" form (to be included with your registration packet), you will be matched with the ADTC Camp Director best suited to help you accomplish your dance camp goals. ADTC’s core classes are in jazz/funk, hip hop and musical theatre dance, but based on your needs, a variety of additional dance disciplines (such as lyrical, modern, ballet, tap and break dance) can also be incorporated into your camp session.
