This is an Intermediate/Advanced level class and requires at least 2 year of jazz, Broadway, lyrical or modern dance training. Not sure what level to choose? Please reach out to us and we’ll help you find the best fit.
You’ll have 90 minutes of live instruction/discussion with our top-notch dance instructors + 30 minutes of self-paced practice per-day. Recording will be available on-demand after each class. CLASS DESCRIPTION
Make new friends, learn cool moves, and have a BLAST in one magical week of dancing with ADTC! Our “Hip Hop/Street Dance 101” Spring Break Dance Camp is a fresh, funky & FUN dance camp for beginners.
You’ll have 90 minutes of live instruction/discussion with our top-notch dance instructors + 30 minutes of self-paced practice per-day. Recording will be available on-demand after each class. Over the course of 5 days, you’ll learn 2 – 3 dance combinations fusing traditional jazz with hip hop, and get the chance to choreograph & share your own shorter solo.
We dance to upbeat, popular songs while learning jazz dance fundamentals fused with a mix of street dance techniques including popping, locking, African, house & funk. On Friday, you’ll be invited to perform your group combinations & solos during class (optional)!

Each Jazz Dance Boot camp meets one night per-week for four or five weeks (with live instruction from 7 – 8:30pm EST each night).
Campers are divided into dance groups by age/ability and have 90 minutes of live two-way zoom instruction/discussion with our world-class dance instructors + 90 minutes of self-paced practice/collaboration per-week. On-demand video recordings are emailed after each class to keep practicing at home, and campers also get the chance to choreograph a short piece for our “Dance Idol” competition on the last day of each session.
