Unlike some dance camps, ADTC is open to dancers of ALL levels, from first-time beginners to advanced performers…and everyone in-between. While our main focus is on jazz/funk, hip hop and musical theatre dance, campers should come ready to experiment with additional dance styles while working on these core competencies. Our classes are as fun as they are challenging! ADTC campers participate in four 1-hour dance classes each day, grouped by age and ability. Class sizes are kept as small as possible to enable plenty of one-on-one interaction and attention. When a particular style of dance is not offered as a core class, campers are usually offered the chance to participate in optional dance electives incorporating that style.

Dance Screening:

Dance Screening After check-in on Sunday, campers participate in a “dance screening” where they learn two short dance combinations. This informal evaluation helps our teachers place campers in dance groups for the week.
