"The camps are fun and encouraging. Both of my daughters made new, lifelong friendships and had so much fun at camp. One of the most positive moments for my oldest daughter was her counselor encouraging her to keep up with dance!"
With his captivating dance moves, a twist of funky flavor and “in your face” crunk, young R&B/Pop singer, songwriter, and producer Wiz Kilo’s versatility leaves every music listener with a fresh taste to remember.
The release of his EP (which he wrote and produced himself), offers a collection of infatuating original material that proves his skills as a talented do-it-all artist. Currently in between NYC, Toronto, and Montreal, Wiz has worked with industry professionals who've collaborated with anyone from SWV to Freddie Jackson. Having found a comfortable medium between music and dance, Wiz has already caught the attention of major labels such as Jive, and Universal to name a few. “Everything I do relates to music somehow, and I think that it was my destiny to do something in this business”, he says about his teaching classes of Hip Hop (dance), his web designing, and of course his music.
With many of his compositions already breaking through in Europe, his songs have been spotted amongst the biggest names in the music industry today. He’s made waves in Top200, Top100, Top40, and Top10 ‘R&B – Hip Hop – Dance’ charts, as plans are in the works for an upcoming European Tour. Wiz, also a very talented lyricist, was one of forty-three semi-finalists in the 2006’s ‘International Songwriting Competition’, out of 15,000 entries and 80 countries for ‘Got Me Like’, which he wrote and produced alongside fellow ADTC instructor, Jordan Setacci. Expanding into the acting world, he can be seen in the North American Foot Locker commercial as well as the up-coming “Date My Playlist” (MTV).
Before moving to Toronto Canada, Wiz Kilo created a buzz in Montreal doing a couple of interviews on Chum City’s Musique Plus about the projects he was developing. Shortly after, he was intived to perform at Latin Fest (Canada’s Wonderland), where crowds of roughly 22,000 people attend every year. Since then, he’s performed at events such as Montreal’s Hard Rock Café, Grand-Prix Weekend (Mercedes Benz, Montreal), Mobile Beat DJ Show (Niagara Falls, NY & Las Vegas, Nevada), Hurricane Katrina’s Relief Concert (Toronto), Parliament Hill (Ottawa), DoDat’s “On My Way Home” (Toronto), Nexx Level’s “How It Feels To Be” (Toronto), and the Village Underground (NYC).
Wiz’s personality, slick dances moves and dynamic stage presence, amongst many other things, prove that he is music’s next promising young star. Wiz Kilo is definitely cooking up hot material, and yes, the “repeat” feature will be used from now on.
