"The camps are fun and encouraging. Both of my daughters made new, lifelong friendships and had so much fun at camp. One of the most positive moments for my oldest daughter was her counselor encouraging her to keep up with dance!"
Michelle started her performing years as a competitive gymnast at age 9. She learned a lot in her 4 years of gymnastics training. She was often in situations where she was by herself, and had to figure out ways to make friends wherever she was. Michelle still enjoys making new friends when and wherever she can.
She started her dance training at 14 dancing and competing on a team. She considers teamwork, humility, respect, hard work, and camaraderie her most valuable lessons from those years, and she strives to impart all of these traits on the young students she currently teaches.
Michelle teaches jazz, hip hop, ballet, Zumba, group fitness, stretch & strength & aerobics classes at several studios and gyms throughout Albuquerque, NM. In 2003, Michelle's mom opened a non-competitive local gym where Michelle has helped as manager, teacher and creative partner, coordinating several recitals, an after school program as well as summer day camp.
Michelle believes her strongest qualities are her ability to teach to different types of learners, while being friendly and approachable.
