WHY KARIJO ROCKS
KariJo has been dancing for the past thirteen years, mostly in the jazz and modern genres. During her modern dance major college, she continued to challenge herself with extra courses in jazz, ballet, hip hop and tap. This is because she feels strongly that it is very important for dancers to be versatile and open to using different kinds of art to express themselves. Since graduating, KariJo continues to push herself technically, as well as find ways to bring dance to others. With the Body Logic Dance Ensemble, she has gone out into schools as a movement specialist teaching "creative movement" classes to elementary age students.
KariJo invests in her students, taking a personal interest in each dancer's individual growth. She is mellow and easy going, a quality campers often find relaxing and comforting. She also enjoys laughter, especially when she can bring it out of others! She can't wait to share her passion for dance with ADTC campers in Park City, Utah this summer!
