"The camps are fun and encouraging. Both of my daughters made new, lifelong friendships and had so much fun at camp. One of the most positive moments for my oldest daughter was her counselor encouraging her to keep up with dance!"
Carl W. Lation was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He began his studies at the age of 15, at NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts), where he studied all styles of dance (ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and tap). After graduating from high school he moved to NYC on a full scholarship to the Juilliard School, to continue his studies.
He's currently performing and choreographing around the world. Summer 2009, he performed in City Centers version of the" Wiz the Musical" featuring Ashanti, Fall 2009 he was Reggie in San Francisco musical "Lost", and winter 2008 and 2009, he performed with Japanese artist Yosko in Tokyo, Japan. In fall of 2009 he choreographed his first Tollywood movie which opened in Feb 2010, also his first all female cast Cabaret show in NYC.
He can't wait to join ADTC's Stratton, Vermont staff this summer for all five weeks!
