Campers Ages Eleven - Twelve
SPECIAL NEEDS
At ADTC, we understand that girls ages eleven and twelve need an understanding of the physical and emotional changes that are about to come. They need skillfully planned programs to meet needs of those who are approaching adolescence as well as those who are not. They need opportunities for greater independence and for carrying more responsibility without pressure. They need warm affection and sense of humor from adults. They need a sense of belonging and acceptance by their peer group and no nagging, condemnation or talking down by adults.
ADTC PROGRAMMING FOR CAMPERS AGES ELEVEN - TWELVE
ADTC offers girls ages eleven & twelve the opportunity to grow both as individuals and as members of their peer group. Teams live, play, and often dance together (unless otherwise placed during "dance screening" after check-in), enjoying activities as a group while learning to respect each other’s differences.
From morning “reflections” to bedtime “team meetings” camper grow in spirit, mind, and body, learning ADTC core values of admiration, dedication, trust and caring in a supportive setting. Night activities bring all teams together to enjoy large-group games and competitions.
