FUN & TEAMWORK

ADTC's team program brings the whole camp together. Teamwork, cultural awareness, social understanding, and personal growth are the underlying message. Although competition between teams and individuals adds to the excitement, competition in and of itself is not a goal of our team program.

We're a close-knit team of dance professionals who work together to turn unique challenges into great solutions - having a lot of fun in the process!!

TEAM LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES

Junior Instructor-Counselors (and sometimes Instructor-Counselors) are assigned as team leaders each camp session. Team leaders motivate and supervise their team during weekly team events, but more importantly, team leaders live with their group, acting as head counselor and caretaker ("en loco parentis" - in place of parents). The primary responsibility of the team leader is to know where each of your campers is at all times, even when you are not supervising them directly.
