Mariya Colwell-LaFleur
Bio
Mariya Colwell-LaFleur is a professional dancer, choreographer, and coach based in Northampton, MA. She has a B.A. in Dance from Point Park University.
Mariya has been a dancer in numerous shows at Universal Studios Florida. She was also a dancer with Regent Seven Seas, “Slendor,” and Virgin Voyages, “The Spark.” Additional performance credits include Chicago The Musical, Pippin and Cinderella at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre in Florida.
Mariya has over 17 years of dance teaching experience. While in Florida she taught jazz, lyrical and contemporary dance at Sell’s Broadway Dance Center and Footworks Dance Studio. She is currently a freelance choreographer and adjudicator for dance competitions. Outside of dance, Mariya has fitness certifications in Pilates Mat, Zumba, and Cycling. And she is a mom!
