Staff - Lior Benador, Lyrical Dance and Ballet Junior Instructor-Counselor

Lior Benador has always been involved in youth movement, both in Israel, where she grew up and in the States. Having been trained in both the U.S. and Israel, Lior's style of lyrical dance and ballet offers something new and different to ADTC. Lior is currently in her third year at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, working towards her BFA in dance (Ballet, Modern, Lyrical Dance, Jazz, Composition, Contact Improvisation and Rhythmic analysis).

Lior loves working with children and is experienced in counseling, teaching and babysitting, important qualities for her position as a Junior Instructor-Counselor. In the summer of 2005, Lior worked at the Rubin Academy Summer Intensive program in Jerusalem, Israel, teaching Lyrical Dance, Modern, Ballet and Repertoire. Lior hopes that she can teach dancers that stage presence is as important as technique. She feels that "a camp environment is perfect for really being able to enjoy dance and developing self-esteem and confidence.
