Amy Klingler graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University. She was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society in college and was featured in "Who's Who Among American College Students."
Amy has been teaching musical theatre dance and ballet at ADTC for two summer. Her great sense of humor, up-beat personality, love and enthusiasm for dance, combined with real professional experience make her a favorite musical theatre dance and ballet instructor-counselor for many campers.
In addition to teaching at ADTC and other summer dance intensives and workshops, Amy has also attended summer camps as a camper. Amy says, "Having the 'camper' experience myself helps me relate and understand what the ADTC dancers expect and need from me as an Instructor-Counselor." She ads, "Children can become such leaders by attending camp. They gain a sense of independence, responsibility, self-confidence and learn to interact and socialize with others. I think ADTC can be a significant stepping stone for kids to discover who they are and what they want to become!"
When not teaching musical theatre dance and ballet at ADTC in the summers, Amy has a career as a Radio City Rockette, currently in her seventh year and performing with the Chicago cast. In addition to performing with the Rockettes, Amy has danced with Celebrity Cruises, Gary Musick Productions and American Spirit Dance Co.
