Day Campers at out Overnight Camp Locations

We welcome day campers, though 99% of ADTC campers choose to stay overnight.Girls Summer Day Campers enjoy four dance classes per day, lunch & dinner, and participate in the day, evening and weekend all-camp activities for just $645 per week. Day campers also are welcome to participate in the optional field trips we offer (additional fees may apply). Please note there is no discount per session for attending multiple weeks as a day camper.

Local Day Camps - Bring ADTC to Your Hometown!

We can bring our one-week (or two or more!) day camp program to your town - anywhere nationwide! Day campers participate in four 1 hour dance classes each day. Standard ADTC Dance Day Camps offer classes in jazz, hip hop and theatre dance, lyrical or contemporary, but you can customize your camp and choose from a wide variety of additional dance techniques, including (but not limited to) modern, ballet and tap, Latin jazz, street jazz,and world dance.

Dance Classes can be held at schools, YMCAs, fitness centers, dance studios, or even outdoors. It is up to you to secure and pay for the camp facility. Each dance space must have ample room to accommodate up to 20 dancers per class (though ADTC classes are typically smaller).

Each session culminates in an all-camp performance. Throughout the week/s, campers help to choose the show theme and pick out their costumes. In just five days, campers learn performance pieces in three or four different dance disciplines. Camp awards are presented at the end of the show and an ice cream party follows. Parents, siblings and friends are encouraged to attend.

We like to keep our staff-to-camper ratios as low as possible to allow for hands-on help and individualized attention. We send one instructor for ADTC Dance Day Camps with 16 or fewer participants (campers are in one dance group, so they must be about the same ability level). For camps with 16 - 30 participants, we send two instructors (two dance groups, divided by level), and for camps with more than 30 participants, we send three instructors (three + dance groups, divided by level).

Level 1 Instruction – Your instructors are usually competitive college dancers who are certified to direct beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate level ADTC dance camps.

ADTC Celebrity Teachers – Your instructors are professional dancers, teachers and ADTC choreographers who are certified to direct intermediate, advanced and professional-level ADTC camps.

Session pricing is per-camper, per-week and based on the level of your ADTC instruction and number of participants. Our per-camper fee is all-inclusive – that means that you pay only the tuition (and provide the facility for the camp) and we take care of staff housing, staff travel and camper awards. As the host, you may even add a dollar amount to the per-camper registration fee to earn a profit!
